Charla para conocer otras familias de AXYS y conocer estrategias para el comportamiento. Hannah Acevedo, psicóloga educativa y analista de comportamiento certificada, brindará una breve presentación en español, seguida de preguntas y respuestas junto con una discusión, facilitada por la miembro de la junta de AXYS y líder del grupo de apoyo, Silvia Mann. Hannah Acevedo, Educational Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide a short presentation in Spanish, which will be followed by a Q and A along with a group discussion, facilitated by AXYS Board Member and Support Group Leader, Silvia Mann. Trisomy X Support Group ( Ages 15+)

Southeastern Support Group Meeting

This meeting will feature a presentation with Dr. Rick Kilmer Title: Social Skills Training...What's Out There? Bio: Rick Kilmer is a psychologist and father of 21 year old Elena, who has Trisomy X. Professionally, he has conducted many types of groups over the past 25 years to help people improve relationship and social skills. These groups had different approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Process Groups, and Assertiveness Training. This group discussion seeks to share resources found helpful to having better friendships and relationships. Register on Zoom
